Women's apparel brand Cartolina has landed in New York City, marking the brand’s first brick-and-mortar location.

Nestled at 966 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side, the 250-square-foot Manhattan store, designed to evoke the spirit of wanderlust that inspires Cartolina's seasonal collections, offers a broad selection of the brand's latest pieces. Customers can expect to find everything from blouses to skirts and dresses, catering to a range of fashion needs and occasions.

With a history rooted in its deep passion for travel and exploration, Cartolina, which translates to "postcard" in Italian, launched in 2020 by East Coast entrepreneur Margaret Anne Nolen. Today, the brand is recognized for offering vintage-inspired fabrics married with a modern feminine sensibility, and for details like custom prints, fine embroidery, and a commitment to old-world quality.

“This long-anticipated venture into New York City is nothing short of a dream realized, and it signifies a momentous milestone in Cartolina’s journey,” said Nolen.

“Having grown up with fond childhood memories of this vibrant city, the prospect of establishing our presence here is particularly heartwarming. We are thrilled to become a part of Madison Avenue’s legendary fashion tapestry. With our commitment to high-quality collections and an exceptional shopping experience, we look forward to connecting with discerning NYC customers.

Cartolina's foray into Manhattan follows its successful presence at Nantucket's Centre Pointe Boutique.
